Asbestos encapsulation is a hassle free alternative to asbestos removal. Key to our encapsulation solution is our hardwearing, resilient sprayed polyurea. Unbelievable crack bridging, strength, durability, waterproofing and elasticity properties of this unique product mean we are confident that the solution is safe and quite likely will outlast the buildings design life - depending on system specification. You should never have to incur asbestos removal costs or asbestos encapsulation costs ever again.
The use of asbestos was made illegal in 1999, however there are an estimated 1.5 million non-domestic properties with an asbestos roof; inhaled asbestos contributes to in the region of 3,000 deaths a year from related diseases - this is estimated to rise to 10,000 deaths a year by 2020.
It is our assessment that the safest, most cost effective way to prevent the release of the harmful asbestos fibres into the air is asbestos encapsulation and not asbestos removal. Our asbestos encapsulation solution, using a seamless, elsatomeric membrane, restistant to cracking and durable is guarenteed for upto 25 years.
There is therefore clearly a great need to prevent the further release of harmful asbestos fibres into the air. In our view, the safest and most cost effective way to achieve this is asbestos encapsulation and not asbestos removal. Our asbestos encapsulation solution contains the asbestos within a seamless, durable, elastomeric membrance which resists cracking and is guaranteed for up to 25 years.
Asbestos Encapsulation and Land Remediation Relief
Businesses throughout the UK are saving substantial amounts of corporation tax, thanks to a little-used tax relief scheme introduced by the Government in April 2009. The Land Remediation Relief (LRR) scheme provides that for every £1 businesses spend on bringing derelict or contaminated land back into productive use, they will get tax relief on £1.50 – a 50% uplift on their expenditure which can be set off against business profits and dramatically reduce Corporation Tax.
Hyperseal Protective Coatings has now developed a solution that helps businesses to capitalise on this scheme. Our asbestos encapsulation system qualifiles as eligible expenditure under the LRR scheme – and enables businesses to refurbish and encapsulate old asbestos roofs with the added benefit of helping those business to save Corporation Tax. This scheme is planned to be amended, or even abolished, by the Government next April so if you have an asbestos roof that you have been putting off making safe then there is no better time to act than now. For full details on this service request a free fact sheet on the LRR available to you or request a free consultation on this subject with our qualified LRR Tax Advisor by using any of the contact options on this page

This process allows the client to make a full inspection of the roof and where necessary to apply sealant and/or waterproofing systems - in association with HyperSeal Protective Coating product range.

In the photograph Sample A shows a roof cleaning water prior to filtration containing 2280 Mg/litre of solids and 6.6 Mg/litre of Asbestos.
